Our recently created talent hub in Bangalore continues to grow at pace, reflecting our commitment to expanding Travelopia's global presence. Teams there work alongside existing hubs and offices across North America, Australia, UK and rest of Europe.
Our History
At Travelopia, each of our brands has decades of heritage in experiential travel. Often beginning as smaller, independently owned businesses, many have since grown into industry leaders in their respective markets, recognised for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Our brands were originally brought together by TUI Group to become Travelopia, which was acquired by Kolhberg Kravis Roberts, a global private equity firm, in 2017, with the vision to create the world’s leading experiential travel company.
Sovereign, American Holidays & Citalia sold to TravCorp
Travelopia sells Sovereign Luxury Travel, American Holidays, and Citalia together as a group to TravCorp Holdings.
Sawadee Reizen sold to Intrepid Travel
Travelopia sells Dutch tour operator Sawadee Reizen to Intrepid Travel.
Kalos Golf acquired
Travelopia acquires Kalos Golf, an escorted golf specialist.
Enchanting Travels acquired
Travelopia acquires Enchanting Travels AG, a specialist in high-end tailor-made travel.
KKR completes acquisition
KKR completes its acquisition of Travelopia, a group of 53 international travel brands.
